Painted in situ during a week in Venice during Summer 2007

I had a wonderful morning sitting in the sunshine painting on the edge of this canal whilst the gondolas floated past. Accompanied by a strong cappuccino and a cone of tiramisu ice cream, it was the idyllic way to paint!
